Thomas de Zengotita has a valid point when he discusses the fabrications that may influence what people see to be reality. Since we are constantly coping with so many issues in our every-day lives, answers to our questions get mixed up in each other and other things that may be affecting our lives and reality is never clear. For example, the media plays a big role in decision-making for many people. Although something seems as if it will turn out okay, you will never be 100% correct about this unless you see that it is true. There is not just another "episode" in your life that will fix what you have done. Also, Zengotita's post discusses how the immense about of crisis in our lives causes our reactions to events to not be as concerned, as in the events of September 11th. People are so used to things being fixed and more problems coming, that they never stop to fully assess that the bad situations have been cleared.

Thanks for the post. Are you saying that the media is constantly producing fabrications that we mistake for reality, like, I don't know, someone who thinks their life is like a sitcom plot? I'm not sure of that's where your point is headed or not...
