Bad Sportsmanship in the NFL
When the Pats played the Chargers 3 weeks ago, the result of the game caused many San Diego players to talk trash about New England. In my opinion, and from the perspective of my chiropractor (who is the Patriots chiropractor and was on the field the entire game), these players should really have kept their mouths shut. What the cameras showed were the Patriots dancing in the endzone to celebrate their win when time ran out. What the cameras did show were the Chargers celebrating what they assumed was going to be a victory- with 8 minutes left. When the Patriots ended up winning the game, LaDainian Tomlinson made rude comments about the Patriots organization that were not true. Although both teams may have proven to be cocky about certain plays they made, the comments made about Bill Belicheck were extremely inappropriate. It is completely out of line to blame players' actions on a coach, when in reality Belicheck's famous line to his team members is always, "play with class, win with class, or don't play at all." Furthermore, in my opinion LT should never have said that he would not talk to Belicheck if he were to be the Pro-Bowl coach, for if he is not mature enough to face a loss and blames a terrific and respected coach, then he should not have playing time at all- regardless of how skilled he may be.
